H&R ChemPharm (UK) to deliver a paper at the International Nonwovens Symposium

Nnamdi Amatobi, Product Development Chemist, at H&R ChemPharm (UK) will deliver a paper at the forthcoming International Nonwovens Symposium in Prague, 3rd - 4th June 2015.

The paper, entitled "A Novel Liquid SAP Approach Bringing Added Value to Nonwovens", highlights how SAHARA®, (developed by H&R ChemPharm (UK) Limited) has brought added value to nonwoven substrates, and in doing so widens the range of opportunities in which the substrate may be used.

These substrates are typically found in a variety of applications ranging from medical to industrial, conservation to construction, but have certain limitations when it comes to liquid containment or liquid barrier applications. However, with the addition of a SAHARA® SAP, an added value to the material can be gained and in doing so widens the range of opportunities in which the substrate may be used.

The paper goes on to highlight the technical background to what is considered to be a unique product, before concluding with a look at just a few of the actual applications which have successfully used and benefited from a SAHARA® based substrate in their construction.

The paper will be available to download from the H&R website shortly.
