H&R ChemPharm (UK) to Sponsor Chemistry at Work

H&R ChemPharm (UK) are to sponsor this years Chemistry at Work event which takes place between 10th October and 14th November, at Dudley's Black Country Living Museum.

Run in conjunction with the Royal Society of Chemistry, Chemistry at Work aims to celebrate the chemical history of the Black Country and at the same time present a positive image of chemistry and the chemical sciences to the public through a series of seminars and workshops.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Nigel Atwood, Sales and Marketing Manager at H&R ChemPharm said;

'We have been looking for ways to further develop links with the community and to be seen to support local initiatives and events. The "Chemistry at Work" event at The Black Country Living Museum therefore fits perfectly with this objective'.

Mel Weatherly, Head of Learning at The Black Country Living Museum, added;

Their sponsorship will enable Black Country Living Museum to deliver a range of workshops and activities which will celebrate the scientific heritage of the Black Country and present a positive image of chemistry and the chemical sciences to children and young people at school or in college'.
