The H&R business in South Africa recently found itself with surplus IT equipment, comprising desk top and laptop computers, following a rationalization of its computer infrastructure.

This presented an opportunity for H&R to continue its commitment to advancing technical education in schools by equipping one school with a fully networked computer laboratory.

Using our own staff to identify suitable recipients Gwecu School, just outside of Durban, South Africa, was selected as a suitable recipient.

Whilst the school organized a suitable building H&R arranged for the computers to be fully refurbished, loaded with appropriate software and then as soon as the building was ready in March H&R had the computers installed and networked to the excitement of pupils and teachers.

The photos show enthusiastic scholars and teachers using the newly installed computers.
