Special water based H&R waxes and oil emulsions made from natural waxes are used in industrial sectors such as paints and varnishes, paper & packaging, chemicals & blenders, construction industry and insulation materials, as well as in engineered woods. In the construction industry, H&R waxes can reduce energy costs substantially through wax-based insulation in building materials.

APP based products, manufactured by H&R are used in the production of bitumen based roofing membranes. Bitumen modifiers make the bitumen flexible, resistant to change in temperature and improve UV resistance.
